On the first day after the Burmese New Year, the President was publically released from prison, but yet is being held under house arrest without being officially announced. In addition, despite the promise of peace within 100 days, the junta has continued bombing schools, religious buildings, and hospital in reality, killing children and women, and such bombings and killings are also worse than before. These violations constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity. Hence, it is important for the international community, including the ASEAN, to take action to stop the junta’s unjust killings of its people.
