Daily Briefing in Relation to the Military Coup

According to AAPP documentation, at least (786) houses and buildings have been sealed off by the junta between February 2021 and October 2022.
Since the February 1, 2021, military coup and the emergence of the Spring Revolution, a total of (2432) people, pro-democracy activists and other civilians have been killed through military crackdown following pro-democracy movements.
Since the coup, a total of (12925) people are currently under detention, (1633) of whom are serving sentences. There are a total of (86) post-coup death row prisoners as of November 10, 2022. (121) people have been sentenced in absentia, of whom (42) have been sentenced to death. This makes a total of (128) people who have been sentenced to death. (22) people have been released on bail and (3189) people have already been released. These are the numbers verified by AAPP. The actual numbers are likely much higher. We will continue to update accordingly.
Kyi Soe, an NLD township executive and his brother, Min Ko, were accused of being related to the PDF. They live in No (1) Ward, Tilin Township, Magway Region. On the night of November 8th, they were both arrested by police from Tilin Myoma Police Station, at their house.
On November 8th, at 4 p.m., locals had to flee as a battle broke out between the armed wing of the junta and a local defence force, near Pyar Village, Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region. On November 9th, at 6 a.m., the armed wing of the junta killed a local villager, Zaw Myo Naing, when he entered the village bringing back a bullock cart.
