Daily Briefing in Relation to the Military Coup

According to AAPP documentation, at least (786) houses and buildings have been sealed off by the junta between February 2021 and October 2022.
Since the February 1, 2021, military coup and the emergence of the Spring Revolution, a total of (2428) people, pro-democracy activists and other civilians have been killed through military crackdown following pro-democracy movements.
Since the coup, a total of (12918) people are currently under detention, (1633) of whom are serving sentences. There are a total of (86) post-coup death row prisoners as of November 9, 2022. (121) people have been sentenced in absentia, of whom (42) have been sentenced to death. This makes a total of (128) people who have been sentenced to death. (22) people have been released on bail and (3189) people have already been released. These are the numbers verified by AAPP. The actual numbers are likely much higher. We will continue to update accordingly.
On November 6th, at 9 p.m., the armed wing of the junta and pro-junta militia stationed in Wat Poke Village, Myaing Township, Magway Region, fired heavy weaponries. As that weaponry hit a house in Chaung Oo To Village, leading to an explosion, 60-year-old Kyee Sein was killed on the spot and his wife, Sein Sint, lost her leg.
On November 7th, at 8 p.m., the armed wing of the junta fired heavy weaponry into Shein Ma Kar Village, Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region. As one piece of weaponry hit and exploded on a house in the village, a woman died and her three family members were injured.
