On September 25, at around 2 pm, Aung Htay Oo was arrested by  junta soldiers and police. The Hsar Hmaw Village NLD Chairman in Mogaung Township, Kachin State, was detained for alleged support to the PDF and alleged involvement in bombings.

On September 22, at 7 am, Saw Arr Htaw Moo from Kyun Pin Seik Village in Kyaukkyi Township, Bago Region, stepped on a landmine after returning from checking his fish-trap. As soon as the mine exploded, junta LIB-603 arrived. Unable to stop the bleeding, villagers attempted to transport Saw Arr Htaw Moo to Kyaukkyi Town but they were prohibited from doing so. They were only able to transport him to Nat Than Kwin. But before they arrived Saw Arr Htaw Moo died from loss of blood at 11 am near Wae Gyi Village ahead of Nat Than Kwin.
