On June 10, Pyu Saw Htee members and the junta’s Shwebo No 8 Training Corp raided Ta Ohn Village in Shwebo Township (Sagaing Region) and killed a local named Hnin Maung. 7 villagers were then taken as human shields; Kyaw Linn, Sein Mann, Maung Htoo, Win Swe, Thein Tan, Phoe Htoo and Ye Wai Linn.
