On June 12, at around 3 PM, Pan Ei Phyu from Late Kyal Pyaung Village in Tanintharyi Region, was shot dead by a military convoy going from Kyaukme Taung Village to Dawei Town. The junta soldiers from the convoy were shooting at random. She had to flee, as her house was being shot at, but got hit when she did.

In the morning of June 8, the 363rd Light Infantry Regiment entered Lar Poe Village in Gangaw Township (Magway Region) and killed two villagers; Chit Shine and Wai Linn Oo (aka San Shay), who were accused of being PDF members. Their bodies were then disposed of at a rest house at the entrance of the village and burned down.
