Daily Briefing in Relation to the Military Coup

According to AAPP documentation, at least (547) houses and buildings have been sealed off by the Junta since the 2021 coup up until March 2022.
As of April 14, 2022, (1751) people are now confirmed killed by this junta coup. AAPP compiled and documented (1) fallen hero today. This (1) fallen hero from Kale Township in Sagaing Region was killed on April 10 and documented today. This is the number verified by AAPP. The actual number of fatalities is likely much higher. We will continue adding as and when.
As of April 14, 2022, a total of (10222) people are currently under detention. (996) people have been sentenced in person, of them 59 have been sentenced to death (incl. 2 children). 1976 are evading arrest warrants. 120 people have been sentenced in absentia, of them 41 sentenced to death in absentia. In total 100 sentenced to death, in person and absentia. The exact identities and total figure remains to be verified, but we will continue to confirm the recently released.
On April 9, two brothers living in Aung Myay Thar Yar Nyein Chan Yay Kone Ward, Kyaukme Township, Shan State, were accused of relations with the People’s Defense Force (PDF) and were arrested. The two brothers were 18-year old Cha Shine Aung (aka A Shine), and 16-year old Aung Than Htwe (aka A Nyi).
On April 11, at around 10 AM, Burmese traditional boxer Tu Tu (aka Nagar Marn) and 5 youths were arrested in a restaurant at Minbu (Saku) Town, Magway Region, by junta soldiers. The 31-year old Tu Tu (aka Nagar Marn) became the Middleweight Champion of the World in 2017.
