Daily Briefing in Relation to the Military Coup

According to AAPP documentation, at least (547) houses and buildings have been sealed off by the Junta since the 2021 coup up until March 2022.
As of April 6, 2022, (1730) people are now confirmed killed by this junta coup. Today, there were no confirmed fallen heroes. This is the number verified by AAPP, the actual number of fatalities is likely much higher. We will continue adding as and when.
As of April 6, 2022, a total of (10072) people are currently under detention. (935) people have been sentenced in person, of them 59 have been sentenced to death (incl. 2 children). 1976 are evading arrest warrants. 120 people have been sentenced in absentia, of them 41 sentenced to death in absentia. In total 100 sentenced to death, in person and absentia. The exact identities and total figure remains to be verified, but we will continue to confirm the recently released.
On April 5, in Obo Prison’s special court, Win Naing Oo, a former chief reporter at Mandalay News, Min Thway, Kyaw Oo and Zaw Min Oo were all sentenced to five years of imprisonment on the basis of Section 52(a) of the Counter Terrorism Law.
Khaing Myint Tun a.k.a Shwe Linn Thit, a former reporter from Taunggyi Township in Shan State, was sentenced to ten years of imprisonment under Section 51(c) of the Counter Terrorism Law on April 5. On July 11, 2021, he had been arrested at his home by the junta and was since detained at Nyaung Shwe Prison, where he spent nine months before being sentenced
