Daily Briefing in Relation to the Military Coup

As of November 30, (1299) people are now confirmed killed by this junta coup. AAPP compiled and documented (2) fallen heroes today. These (2) fallen heroes from Thingangyun Township in Yangon Region and Madayar Township in Mandalay Region were killed on previous days and documented today. This is the number verified by AAPP. The actual number of fatalities is likely much higher. We will continue adding as and when.
As of November 30, a total of (7640) people are currently under detention. (343) people have been sentenced in person, of them 34 have been sentenced to death (incl. 2 children). 1954 are evading arrest warrants. 118 people have been sentenced in absentia, of them 39 sentenced to death in absentia. In total 73 sentenced to death, in person and absentia. The exact identities and total figure remains to be verified, but we will continue to confirm the recently released.
On November 30 at around 6.30 am, Htoo Myat Lwin, a third year student in the Oriental Studies Department of Dawei University, Lawun Pyae Pyae Tun, a second year student of Dawei Education College and Sai Ko Ko Tun, a former reporter of 7 Day Journal, were arrested by the armed wing of the Junta. They were arrested at Sai Ko Ko Tun’s house in Dawei.
On November 29 at around 2 am, Khin Tun was arrested by police at his home. He was accused of financially supporting the PDF. He had resigned from his position as chairman of the Municipal Committee of Minhla Township, Bago Region, after the coup.
