Daily Briefing in Relation to the Military Coup

As of November 22, (1286) people are now confirmed killed by this junta coup. AAPP compiled and documented (5) fallen heroes today. These (5) fallen heroes from Kyunhla Township and Ayadaw Township in Sagaing Region and Dimawso Township in Kayah State were killed on a previous day and documented today. This is the number verified by AAPP. The actual number of fatalities is likely much higher. We will continue adding as and when.
As of November 22, a total of (7476) people are currently under detention. (297) people have been sentenced in person, of them 26 have been sentenced to death (incl. 2 children). 1954 are evading arrest warrants. 118 people have been sentenced in absentia, of them 39 sentenced to death in absentia. In total 65 sentenced to death, in person and absentia. The exact identities and total figure remains to be verified, but we will continue to confirm the recently released.
On November 20, Cherry Thet Shay, living in Taungup Township, Rakhine State, who is a high school teacher involved in the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM), was arrested by plain-clothed personnel from the armed wing of the Junta.
On November 20, when the armed wing of the Junta failed to find Wai Linn, a protest leader of Kyauksei Township, his elder sister, Moe Mu, living in Kyeeate Village in Kyauksei Township, Mandalay Region, was arrested as a hostage.
A freelance reporter named Yin Yin Thein a.k.a Nabar, living in Indaw Township, Sagaing Region, was beaten and arrested by the armed wing of the Junta on November 18, at 11 pm.
