Daily Briefing in Relation to the Military Coup

As of November 19, (1278) people are now confirmed killed by this junta coup. AAPP compiled and documented (3) fallen heroes today. These (3) fallen heroes from Mogok Township in Mandalay Region, Pakokku Township in Magway Region and Kalaw Township in Shan State were killed on previous days and documented today. This is the number verified by AAPP. The actual number of fatalities is likely much higher. We will continue adding as and when.
As of November 19, a total of (7410) people are currently under detention. (296) people have been sentenced in person, of them 26 have been sentenced to death (incl. 2 children). 1954 are evading arrest warrants. 118 people have been sentenced in absentia, of them 39 sentenced to death in absentia. In total 65 sentenced to death, in person and absentia. The exact identities and total figure remains to be verified, but we will continue to confirm the recently released.
On the night of November 18, the armed wing of the Junta, who were stationed at the EPC Office in Min Tantar Ward, shot Wai Yan Aung a.k.a Thar Htet dead in the chest with a sniper. Wai Yan Aung died while witnessing a clash at Sin Taung Monastery.
On November 18 at around 9 pm, Myint Win, living in Anout Taw Village in Pakokku Township, Magway Region, was shot dead, when he ran into a patrol of soldiers and police, while he was walking along the street where he lived.
