Daily Briefing in Relation to the Military Coup

As of November 6, (1243) people are now confirmed killed by this junta coup. AAPP compiled and documented (1) fallen hero today. This (1) fallen hero from Kathar Township in Sagaing Region was killed on the previous day and documented today. This is the number verified by AAPP. The actual number of fatalities is likely much higher. We will continue adding as and when.

As of November 6, a total of (7079) people are currently under detention. (299) people have been sentenced in person, of them 26 have been sentenced to death (incl. 2 children). 1954 are evading arrest warrants. 118 people have been sentenced in absentia, of them 39 sentenced to death in absentia. In total 65 sentenced to death, in person and absentia. The exact identities and total figure remains to be verified, but we will continue to confirm the recently released. 

Aung Aung a.k.a A Nge Lay, living in Moe Thar Village in Sagaing Region’s Kathar Township, was detained and forced to guide the terrorist troops on November 2. Aung Aung a.k.a A Nge Lay was shot dead, a forehead gunshot wound was found on his dead body. 

Nyunt Lwin a.k.a Ya Wai Maung, living in Myaungmya Township in Ayeyarwady Region, who is a reporter with Ludu Kalaung Journal, was arrested by the junta on November 3 for composing a poem about a fire in Htantalang Township, Chin State.
