Daily Briefing in Relation to the Military Coup

As of November 4, (1241) people are now confirmed killed by this junta coup. AAPP compiled and documented (5) fallen heroes today. These (5) fallen heroes from Kawlinn Township and Kalay Township in Sagaing Region were killed on November 3 and documented today. This is the number verified by AAPP. The actual number of fatalities is likely much higher. We will continue adding as and when.

As of November 4, a total of (7013) people are currently under detention. (297) people have been sentenced in person, of them 26 have been sentenced to death (incl. 2 children). 1954 are evading arrest warrants. 118 people have been sentenced in absentia, of them 39 sentenced to death in absentia. In total 65 sentenced to death, in person and absentia. The exact identities and total figure remains to be verified, but we will continue to confirm the recently released. 

In Taung Maw Village in Sagaing Region’s Kawlinn Township, terrorist junta troops have been stationed since November 2. On the afternoon of November 3, they killed a high school teacher called Wai Min Thu, Aung Kyi Lwin, Aung Naing Win and Kyaw Linn Aung a.k.a Phoe Lapyae. 

On November 3, junta troops raided Nat Myaung Village in Sagaing Region’s Kalay Township and shot dead a local villager named Nyi Nyi Linn.
