Daily Briefing in Relation to the Military Coup

As of 23 July, (931) people are now confirmed killed by this junta coup. Today there were no confirmed fallen heroes. This is the number verified by AAPP, the actual number of fatalities is likely much higher. We will continue adding as and when.
As of July 23, a total of (5358) people are currently under detention. (255) people have been sentenced in person, of them 26 have been sentenced to death (incl. 2 children). 1963 are evading arrest warrants. 118 people have been sentenced in absentia, of them 39 sentenced to death in absentia. In total 65 sentenced to death, in person and absentia. We are also continuing to verify the recently released detainees.
On July 17, four youths named Ye Myint, Htet Wai Min, photography enthusiast Kyaw Zin Win and another youth (name still unconfirmed), who all are from Lashio Town in Shan State, were arrested at their homes by junta police and soldiers for being accused of associating with the PDF.
In the evening of July 21, workshop owner Soe Aung who was filling oxygen at Myingyan Industrial Zone in Mandalay Region and his 26 years old son, two others from the workshop, and a person who arrived to fill oxygen were arrested by the terrorist junta wearing plain clothes with five private cars.
