November, 2025 Monthly Chronology

From November 1 to 30, 2025

3 December 2025

According to information gathered by the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP), there have been a total of (19) individuals who were arrested under political pretenses in November 2025. Moreover, (64) pro-democracy activists and civilians have lost their lives this month. Among them, (7) lost their lives under various circumstances following their arrest.

These are the numbers verified by AAPP and only includes information and data that has been identified. The actual numbers on the ground are likely much higher. AAPP has been working separately to collect and verify the information of around (108) people still under identification, who died within the month.

According to the observations of the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) during this month, junta forces have continued to commit airstrikes, unprovoked shellings, the burning of villages, the killing of civilians, and looting. Like in previous months, the junta forces continue to treat civilians as the enemy. Even though most countries around the world are voicing their opposition towards these inhumane and brutal acts, it is trying in various ways to hold a sham election with the backing of China and Russia. The junta’s sham election will not bring any good result for the future of the country, and yet it is still oppressing and arresting the people by invoking an election protection law. To get justice for those who have been treated in such cruel ways, we must try to take action against the junta using not only the domestic judicial system, but also international judicial mechanisms.
