Phyo Phyo Aung (F)*, 27 years old, is a student and General Secretary of the All Burma Federation of Student Unions (ABFSU) and was arrested on March 10, 2015 for her role in the student protests against the National Education Law.. AAPP have received reports that she has been subject to torture since being held in detention. Phyo Phyo Aung has previously imprisoned in 2008 after helping her father, Dr. Nay Win, bury corpses after Cyclone Nargis.

Honey Oo (F), 27 years old, is a student activist and leader of ABFSU. She was arrested on March 13, 2015 for her involvement in the protests against the National Education Law. She was previously imprisoned between 2008 and 2012 for staging protests against military rule.

Thiha Win Tin, 30 years old, is a student activist and a leading member of ABFSU. He was arrested on March 13, 2015 for his involvement in the protests against the National Education Law. He was previously arrested in 2008 for his participation in the Saffron Revolution and again in 2013 for his participation in a protest against the Letpadaung Copper Mining Project.

Aung Hmine San is a 41-year-old student activist and leading member of ABFSU. He was arrested on March 10, 2015 for his involvement with the student protests against the National Education Law. He has been repeatedly imprisoned in the past for his ongoing political activities.

Hein Zaw Win is a student at Mandalay University, he has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Law. He is also a leader of ABFSU. He was arrested on March 10, 2015 for his participation in the student protest against the National Education Law. He has been previously indicted, in 2013, under the Peaceful Assembly and Peaceful Procession Law for protesting against the Letpadaung Copper Mining Project.

Khaing Mar Nyein (F) is a law student at Bassein University. She was arrested on March 10, 2015 for her involvement with the student protests against the National Education Law.

Mar Naw is a grade 11 student that was arrested on March 10, 2015 for participating in the student protests against the National Education Law.

Myat Soe Oo is a student at Mandalay University and has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics. He was arrested on March 10, 2015 for his involvement with the student protests against the National Education Law.

Paye Phone Pai is a vendor from Paung De. He was arrested on March 10, 2015 in Letpadan.

Phyu Phyu Khaing (F) is a member of the National Youth Congress, an organization supporting youth activism. She is from Myaungmya, Ayeyarwady Region. She has a Bachelor in Mathematics from Bassein University. She was arrested March 10, 2015 at the Letpadan protest.

San Lwin Oo is a vendor from Rangoon. He was arrested on March 10, 2015 in the crackdown of the Letpadan protest.

Swe Linn Tun is a student activist and the Mandalay District Chair of the ABSFU and has regularly represented the ABSFU in the media. He was arrested March 10, 2015 in the Letpadan protest.

Aung Myint Han is a first year Physics student and farmer who was arrested on March 10, 2015 for his involvement in the protests against the National Education Law.

Aung Myo Oo, holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Prome University. He was arrested on March 10, 2015 for his involvement in the protests against the National Education Law.

Bo Bo Myo is a third year student at Yangon Institute of Economics and a member of Generation Wave, a youth political activist group who advocate for democracy. He was arrested on March 10, 2015 for his involvement in the protests against the National Education Law.

Ei Thin Zar Maung (F) holds a University of Foreign Language Diploma from Mandalay University and is a member of the Mandalay District Student Union. She was arrested on March 10, 2015 for her involvement in the protests against the National Education Law.
