Statement upon the arrests of U Tin Oo, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and their parties. September 7, 2000

A request to the international community to take urgent action for the release of Min Ko Naing and other student political prisoners March 23, 2000

These three political prisoners need urgently to be released because of their health January 23, 2000

The following NLD members were arrested on 29 April, 2000 by the police in Taung Twin Gyi township, Magwe Division. They were sentenced to long term imprisonment on 10 May, 2000. They were seriously beaten during the interrogation center May 16, 2000

There were many leaders in the1988 country-wide uprising . Ko Zar Ni was one of them and actively participated in it February 10, 2000
